Your spiritual life |
How do you make decisions about what you are going to do with your spiritual life? How do you decide what church to go too? What class or small groups you will attend? How many times a week you go? Is your spiritual life an event you attend with your friends? Is the health of your spiritual life determined by what’s going on in your life at the time? Do you determine what you will do and where to go by how you feel at that moment? Or is your decision dependent on how much it will cost? Cost in time, commitment, money, etc. How do you make decisions about what you are going to do with your spiritual life? The answer to all of these above questions will depend on your relationship or what kind of relationship you have or want with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. If you only want enough of God to get-out-of-hell you will go one way and if you want a growing, powerful, meaningful, supernatural, (wanting all you can get relationship with God) you will choose accordingly.

What is Apostolic Christianity? |
The Nicene Creed (con’t) Katz continues to explore the subject in his Introduction to the same book: “There is no word that should be more alive in our consciousness than the word apostolic. It is a word that says everything about the nature and the genius of the church, and all that God expects from it, and intends for it… It is a word that we need to apprehend and be apprehended by. It is a word that has fallen into disuse and needs to be restored, and that restoration is not going to be cheap – but it is worth everything. “Nothing of any eternal consequence or immediate value can be effected in the earth independent of it… God is jealous over the word apostolic. The Lord designates Himself as the “High Priest and Apostle” of our confession. If the church is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, then we need to appropriate the depths of the meaning of that word in order that we might be part of what makes that up, and the configuration of things apostolic that makes the church the church.”

Easter |
My Lord, my King, my Savior, my Messiah, my God, my Rock, my Truth, my Life, my Way is alive, yes He is alive and is at Father God’s right hand. Praise His Holy Name! Jesus Christ is alive and among many things that spells freedom to those who believe in His name. First of all, the risen Lord has freed us from sin. Sin no longer controls my life. I am free from sin. “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:56-57 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

WHAT IS APOSTOLIC CHRISTIANITY? |
“He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me.” (Matthew 10:40) Concerning the term ‘apostolic’, can I say this is a most important word – one that is not like any other nor has an equal, even though, for example, it is not uncommon to see conferences advertised as ‘apostolic and prophetic’ conferences. The Power and Meaning of the Word Apostolic Originally the word apostolic stood alone, unlike any other word, and with an awe-filled meaning so unusual and exceptional that it is quite difficult to define; yet the meaning of the term is central and intrinsic to the faith itself. This word ‘apostolic’ stands alongside the words ‘Christian’ and ‘church’ and speaks of something absolutely huge, historic, and foundational. And the word truly has no equal.

Psalm 71 |
Psalm 71 “In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness; turn your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give them command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men. For you have been my hope, O Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you. I have become like a portent to many, but you are my strong refuge.

Authority Through Submission |
This personal and intimate relationship of full submission is acceptable in only one form, and that is sonship. It was necessary that Christ be a son to a father, or He could not be the Christ. Likewise it is essential that you and I walk in the same spirit of this sonship, or we can never truly be what we are called to be. We will never properly represent Christ as Lord or carry His authority unless we also are sons to a father. This sonship has to be seen in practice, not just in theory. Anyone can say he is walking with God as a son, yet be deceived. It is in the way we walk with those over us in the Lord that shows whether we have the spirit of sonship in the heart, not just the imagination.
